Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmilson Murutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murutu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Flor do Campo. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Edmilson Murutu! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Turner.
Murutu throws out a loose jab but Turner uses good head movement to avoid it. Turner rushes Murutu and presses him up against the cage. Murutu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Turner tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Murutu can't break the clinch.

It looks like Edmilson Murutu has been cut. Turner keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Murutu's efforts to push away. The referee is keeping an eye on Turner - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Turner will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Murutu up against the cage. Murutu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Turner gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. Murutu takes a knee right on the jaw!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Turner takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Turner utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Turner stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Turner lands a big head kick that sends Murutu tumbling to the mat! Turner takes a step backwards and waves Murutu back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Murutu is rocked! Turner moves into range and clinches up with Murutu. Murutu is still on wobbly legs! Can Turner finish him? Turner with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Turner has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Murutu - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Turner, and another! Murutu is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
