Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between jon williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Stocks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). williams comes to the cage accompanied by DOA. Martin Stocks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, jon williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Stocks! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! williams has taken the fight to the clinch.
williams pulls guard successfully.
williams is trying to keep Stocks in close.
williams wants to stand but Stocks is controlling the position. Stocks wants to stand and escape but instead williams has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. williams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. williams passes into half guard. williams wants to control but Stocks is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. williams is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stocks can do anything to dispel that myth. williams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Stocks tries to get to full guard but williams has control of the leg. williams wants to stand up but Stocks is controlling the position.
Stocks misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Stocks is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Stocks closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stocks lands in his opponent's guard. Stocks landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. williams can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stocks controls the pace. Stocks postures up and lands a big shot to williams's brow. Stocks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stocks trying to control the position from guard on top but williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stocks postures up.
williams looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
williams is breathing heavily. williams looking to control.
williams keeping moving, preventing Stocks from controlling successfully. Stocks slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. williams tries to kick Stocks off but Stocks keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Stocks not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Stocks stops williams from getting back to his feet.
Stocks lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stocks seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. williams trying to hold on to Stocks's head to control him but Stocks postures up.
williams makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Martin Stocks will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
williams throws a right and a left that both miss. williams has his takedown stuffed and Stocks counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for williams! Stocks lands a nice shot to the head. williams wants to control but Stocks is having none of it. Stocks wants to control the pace but williams is squirming around nicely. williams is trying to escape the mount.
Stocks is breathing heavily. williams is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Stocks. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stocks looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
williams is working to get back to half guard.
williams is trying to reverse the position but instead Stocks has taken his back - oops! Stocks avoiding williams 's attempts to control his hands. williams turns into Stocks and is now in his guard.
Stocks is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Stocks has a closed guard, preventing williams from standing up. Stocks seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Stocks pushes williams off and scrambles back to his feet.
williams takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's three minutes gone in the round. williams avoids the head kick by Stocks.
Stocks shoots for a double leg takedown but williams sprawls well. He's pushed Stocks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Stocks swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Stocks fails with a takedown attempt. Stocks fails miserably with a takedown attempt. jon williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Stocks. A punch combination from Stocks misses. Stocks with a poor takedown and williams counters with a body kick that stops Stocks in his tracks momentarily. jon williams is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stocks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stocks tries to clinch there but williams circles away.
williams has his takedown stuffed and Stocks counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Stocks moves into full mount! williams won't be happy about that! williams is trying to get back to his feet but can't. williams is squirming around, avoiding Stocks's attempts to control the action. You get the feeling that williams really doesn't like being in this position too much.
williams regains half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. williams manages to regain full guard. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Stocks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!
williams closes the distance looking to clinch and Stocks counters into the clinch. Nicely done. williams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stocks just stands there and leans against the cage. williams leaning against his opponent.
Stocks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

No luck for Stocks with that takedown attempt. Stocks fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with williams, pushing him back against the cage. williams is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stocks is keeping busy. Stocks is trying to break the clinch but williams has him pressed against the cage. williams on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
williams tries to land knees in the clinch but Stocks avoids the damage to the body. williams wants to break the clinch but can't.
Stocks tries to break the clinch but williams is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. williams tries to throw a body punch but Stocks avoids it by throwing williams back against the cage. williams is looking to break free of the clinch but Stocks has double underhooks. Stocks goes for a takedown attempt but williams pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
williams throws a sloppy head kick and Stocks moves out of range easily. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stocks misses with a takedown attempt - williams sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. jon williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Stocks. williams doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stocks counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Stocks decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on williams, up you get! williams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stocks counters with a series of strikes. williams will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stocks gets a clinch. williams breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
williams tries to land a front kick but Stocks steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. williams throws a big shot that misses. williams forces Stocks back against the cage and clinches. williams breaks the clinch.
williams misses with a takedown and Stocks counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in williams's guard now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stocks looking to sit in guard and control but williams gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. williams trying to stand up but can't free himself from Stocks's guard. williams is standing up over Stocks. Stocks looks to escape but williams dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. williams wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stocks keeps working. williams tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. williams decides to stand up, so the ref orders Stocks to his feet. Stocks stuffs the takedown attempt from williams. williams gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A bone on bone clash there as williams blocks the leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Stocks finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Stocks shoots for a double leg takedown but williams sprawls well. He's pushed Stocks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. williams misses with a combination
and Stocks counters with a shoot takedown. williams fights it but they end up in guard. Stocks slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Stocks tries to advance to mount but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. williams wants to control but Stocks postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Martin Stocks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Stocks winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
