Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Fertus!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertus jabs at Lashley's body.
Fertus scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.
Fertus stuffs the takedown.
Fertus keeps the fight on the outside.
Bobby Lashley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lashley is defended easily by Fertus.
Lashley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Lashley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fertus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lashley, pushing him back against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fertus takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fertus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lashley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Lashley tries to clinch up
and Fertus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fertus scores with a head kick.
Fertus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lashley, pushing him back against the cage.
Fertus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fertus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lashley on the side of the head.
Bobby Lashley's cut is getting worse.
Lashley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lashley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fertus counters with a nice body shot.
Lashley is breathing heavily.
Lashley thows a leg kick but Fertus checks it
and Fertus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Fertus lands a body shot.
Lashley walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bobby Lashley's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fertus.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fertus with a jab.
Mike Fertus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lashley is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Fertus Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Lashley is out cold, face down on the mat!
