PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Beljakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaroslav Tolstikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beljakov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Immortal - Tyrants . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tolstikov moves into the clinch successfully.

Beljakov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tolstikov throws a right and a left that both miss.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Tolstikov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Beljakov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tolstikov is just riding it out for now. Beljakov eventually gives up the hold.

Beljakov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tolstikov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beljakov has managed to get both his arms back between Tolstikov's legs - danger averted.
