Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chun Mey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Ingram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mey comes to the cage accompanied by milkshake. Wayne Ingram is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chun Mey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Ingram! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ingram shoots in for a takedown but Mey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ingram throws a right and a left that both miss. Mey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mey. Ingram misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ingram shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mey but Mey pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ingram shoots for a takedown but Mey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chun Mey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wayne Ingram. Mey fails with a takedown attempt. Mey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ingram shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mey sprawls well. Mey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ingram gets slowly back to his feet. Ingram shoots in and drives through. Mey sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mey gets a takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Mey looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ingram blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mey. Mey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ingram with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ingram's head. Ingram is trying to get back to full guard. Mey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ingram is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mey's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mey's back! Mey tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ingram looking to ground and pound but Mey is blocking nicely. Mey blocking the ground and pound. Mey is breathing heavily. Mey wants to hold on but Ingram pushes him away. Ingram tries to control but Mey wriggling away. Mey is wriggling around trying to escape.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ingram looking to ground and pound but Mey is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mey is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Ingram wants to control the pace but Mey is squirming around nicely. Ingram controlling from mount. Ingram looking to secure an arm triangle but Mey defends it well. Ingram takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mey regains half guard. Ingram wants to free his trapped foot but Mey is holding on for dear life with his legs. Ingram is trying to control. Mey wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Wayne Ingram will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mey closes the distance and clinches up with Ingram, looking for a takedown. Mey pushes Ingram against the cage but Ingram circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ingram shoots for a takedown but Mey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ingram sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ingram keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chun Mey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ingram instigates a clinch. Mey looks to throw an elbow but misses. Ingram is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mey pulls him back up using the underhooks. Mey wants a takedown but no success here.
Ingram is trying to break the clinch but Mey has him pressed against the cage. Ingram has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mey uses from the top position. Mey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ingram has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mey has managed to get both his arms back between Ingram's legs - danger averted. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ingram is trying to control the position but Mey postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mey wants to control from the top but Ingram keeps moving. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ingram closes the distance and lands a one-two. Ingram throws the kick towards the body but Mey avoids it. Ingram shoots in and drives through. Mey sprawls well. Ingram shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mey fails with the takedown. Chun Mey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ingram leaves Mey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Ingram. Mey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ingram! Mey scoring with strikes but Ingram is staying in there. Mey lands a nice shot to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ingram defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Mey. Mey trying to control but Ingram is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ingram sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Ingram has hold of Mey's hands but Mey slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ingram is pressing down on Mey's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Ingram wants to sweep but no luck. Mey is looking to work some ground and pound but Ingram has wrist control. Mey is looking to work some ground and pound but Ingram has wrist control. Mey tries to keep at a distance but Ingram has taken the fight into the clinch. Mey tries a knee to the head but Ingram blocks it.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ingram tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mey just stands there and leans against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ingram jumps into guard, dragging Mey to the mat.
Chun Mey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mey stands up from Ingram's guard - Mey perhaps looking for a knockout. Ingram misses with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chun Mey will probably get the nod. That's time! Mey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Mey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The fight stays on the outside here - Mey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Horrible takedown by Ingram or perhaps it was just good defense by Mey which made him look bad. Ingram shoots in for a takedown but Mey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ingram closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mey circles away. Mey is trying to drag Ingram to the mat but Ingram just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Mey is looking to break free of the clinch but Ingram has double underhooks. Mey has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ingram avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ingram pulls Mey into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mey landing with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ingram's guard. Mey trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ingram controls Mey momentarily but Mey frees himself. Mey gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Mey leaves Ingram with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ingram as he jumps to the side. Mey displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ingram.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mey shoots in but no luck this time. Ingram changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mey tries to avoid it but Ingram manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mey to the ground. Mey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mey fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ingram to the ground. Mey is now in Ingram's guard. Ingram trying to control the position here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ingram working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mey. That's four minutes gone in the round. Mey throws a big elbow that misses. Ingram keeping moving, preventing Mey from controlling successfully. Ingram not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mey using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ingram has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Chun Mey showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
