Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Reno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barbosa's entrance music is Eye of the tiger. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Igor Barbosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mike Reno! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Reno there. Barbosa gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Reno to score an easy takedown into full guard. Reno won't allow Barbosa to sweep him here. Barbosa keeping full guard, as Reno tries to pass. Reno works over Barbosa with some ground and pound from guard. Barbosa kicks Reno off and gets to his feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Barbosa. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Barbosa advances to mount. Reno really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barbosa controlling the pace for now. Reno tries to lock up and control but Barbosa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Reno can't escape the position.
Barbosa sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Reno is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Reno really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barbosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Reno is trying desperately to improve position. Barbosa controlling the position easily from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reno is looking to improve his position but Barbosa isn't that keen on the idea. Barbosa lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Barbosa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Reno looks a forlorn figure.
Reno tries to improve his position but Barbosa has taken his back! Barbosa has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Reno tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Barbosa pushes Reno away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Igor Barbosa! A less than humble Igor Barbosa misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
