The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skostkov is looking to clinch but Bergh is avoiding it.
Bergh tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Skostkov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bergh. That did some damage!

Bergh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Skostkov lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Bergh is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Bergh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bergh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Skostkov uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Bergh closes the distance and clinches up with Skostkov, looking for a takedown. Bergh pushes Skostkov against the cage but Skostkov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Vladimir Skostkov will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Skostkov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bergh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Skostkov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Skostkov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bergh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Skostkov pinned against the cage. Skostkov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bergh decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Skostkov is refusing to be controlled, as Bergh sits in half guard.

Bergh seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Anders Bergh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bergh has hold of Skostkov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Skostkov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Bergh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
