Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donatello Crizanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monte Christo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Christo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Walk this way - Run DMC & Aerosmith kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crizanto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Christo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Crizanto on the side of the head.
Crizanto tries to close the distance and clinch but Christo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Crizanto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Christo.
Crizanto misses with a few strikes there.
Crizanto lands a two punch combo.
Christo connects with a body shot that sends Crizanto's belly button to the back.
Christo misses with a low kick as Crizanto jumps back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Christo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Crizanto to score with a decent uppercut.

Crizanto bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Christo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Christo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Crizanto but Crizanto pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Crizanto takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sloppy strikes from Crizanto. Those never looked like landing.
Nice defenses there by Christo.
Christo cracks Crizanto with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Crizanto looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Christo finish him?
Oh Crizanto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Donatello Crizanto has been cut.
Christo closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Crizanto! Christo dives in looking to finish! Crizanto is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Monte Christo!
Monte Christo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
