Brewster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Way of the Fist. Chad Brewster is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Ramos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chad Brewster!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewster takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.


It looks like Chad Brewster has been cut.
Brewster throws a lazy right hand but Ramos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Brewster misses with a wild body shot.
Ramos scores with a shot to the body.
Ramos scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brewster keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ramos.
A slow jab from Brewster misses its intended target.
Brewster throws a jab when Ramos was well out of range.
Brewster misses with a takedown
and Ramos counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brewster moves out of range as Ramos strikes.

Brewster throws a right hand that misses
and Ramos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Brewster drives through with a takedown into Ramos's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Ramos wants to get back to his feet but Brewster is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ramos tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brewster drops back looking for a leg! Ramos is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ramos manages to kick Brewster off! Brewster jumps back into Ramos's guard.
Brewster tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramos is retaining full guard.

Ramos wants to get back to his feet but Brewster is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Brewster is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Ramos has Brewster pulled in close to control his posture.

Ramos lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brewster!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ramos takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ramos ducks under a wild hook from Brewster.
Brewster misses with a wild body shot.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ramos.
Ramos thows a body shot but no joy.
Ramos slips under a jab from Brewster.
Ramos misses with a hook. Brewster ducked under it nicely.
Ramos feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Brewsters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brewster is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Ramos throws a body punch but Brewster moves out of range.
Ramos throws a big shot that misses.
Ramos just misses with a punch to the body.
Chad Brewster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brewster looks to throw the jab but Ramos is out of range.
Brewster avoids the body shot from Ramos.
Brewster walks into a straight right hand from Ramos.
Brewster fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Brewster misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ramos.
Nice straight punches there by Ramos. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ramos.
Ramos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!

That has opened up Chad Brewster's cut even more.

Brewster throws a hook but Ramos blocks it.
Ramos misses with a two punch combination.

Ramos thuds his right hand into Brewster's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Brewster dives in and grabs Ramos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramos pushes down on Brewster's head and hops out.

and Ramos counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Ramos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Brewster swings for the body but Ramos moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brewster wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brewster connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ramos lands a nice shot that snaps Brewster's head back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Brewster closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ramos circles away.

The cut above Chad Brewster's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Brewster throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ramos misses with a wild body shot.

Chad Brewster's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Mark Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Brewster.
Brewster throws a poor cross that misses
and Ramos cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Brewster is rocked!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chad Brewster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
