Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roger Lettesen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eamon Delaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lettesen comes to the cage accompanied by Machine head, Davidian. Delaney has chosen Johnny, I hardly Knew Ya as his entrance music. Eamon Delaney has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roger Lettesen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eamon Delaney! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lettesen gets caught flat footed, as Delaney shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lettesen looking for a sweep. Not yet Lettesen, not yet. Delaney postures up.
Delaney wants to pass the guard but Lettesen is keeping the position. Lettesen is trying to keep Delaney in close.
Delaney seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Lettesen as Delaney shoots in. Lettesen throws a jab when Delaney was well out of range. Delaney lands with a nice body punch. Delaney just misses with a punch to the body.
Delaney tests Lettesen's chin there with a solid looking shot. Delaney throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lettesen's waist but Lettesen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Delaney off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lettesen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lettesen is looking to stand up but Delaney won't let him. Delaney keeping moving, preventing Lettesen from controlling successfully. Delaney seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Delaney manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Lettesen is trying desperately to improve position. Delaney is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lettesen is surviving well by controlling Delaney's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney looking to control but Lettesen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Delaney controlling the position easily from mount. Lettesen is looking to improve his position but Delaney isn't that keen on the idea. Delaney working Lettesen over with strikes here. This has been an exciting period of action! Lettesen is desperately trying to improve his position but Delaney has a good base and remains in mount. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Delaney cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lettesen tries to reverse the position but Delaney maintains control. Delaney jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lettesen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lettesen and Delaney has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delaney in side control, throwing shots but Lettesen defends. Lettesen is pushing Delaney's head away, looking to escape. Delaney manages to hold on to the position though. Lettesen is trying to control Delaney's posture but Delaney avoids it. Delaney controlling the position from side mount. Delaney cracks Lettesen with a big right hand but Lettesen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Delaney working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Delaney wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lettesen, who protects the arm well. A lull in the action here as Delaney stalls from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delaney wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lettesen keeps working. Delaney looks up at the clock and then as Lettesen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Delaney smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Delaney stands up and we're back to a striking position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Delaney swings for the body but Lettesen moves out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Delaney swats away the attempt to clinch by Lettesen. Delaney shoots in and drives through. Lettesen sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eamon Delaney dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A slow jab from Delaney misses its intended target. Lettesen throws a leg kick that is checked and Delaney counters with a takedown into side control. Lettesen is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Lettesen bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Lettesen tries to clinch there but Delaney circles away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Delaney checks a leg kick. Delaney lands with a hook. Lettesen tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. No joy there for Lettesen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Delaney. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lettesen on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lettesen, who protects the arm well. Delaney working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. An elbow from Delaney crashes against the mat.
Lettesen is being controlled here. Eamon Delaney has got the better of the ground game so far. Delaney passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lettesen! Delaney scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney controlling his opponent. Delaney is in the full mount, landing strikes. Delaney trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lettesen tries to reverse the position but Delaney maintains control. Delaney pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Delaney with a couple of short strikes. Delaney with the ground and pound from mount. Delaney wants to control the pace but Lettesen is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delaney postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lettesen looks a forlorn figure.
Lettesen is wriggling around trying to escape.
Delaney is landing with some decent strikes but Lettesen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Delaney in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Lettesen is bucking up trying to escape but Delaney cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Delaney looking to control and managing it successfully. Delaney lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Lettesen hang on? Delaney controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Delaney wants to control the pace but Lettesen is squirming around nicely. Delaney dominating with strikes here. Delaney unloading with bombs! Lettesen really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Delaney raining down shots from the mount! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Delaney controlling from mount. Lettesen is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eamon Delaney showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Delaney shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lettesen's guard. Delaney drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Delaney jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lettesen throws his legs up looking for a submission but Delaney uses it to pass to side control.
Lettesen is looking for a sweep. Delaney tries to advance to mount but can't. Delaney taking a breather here. Lettesen is trying to control Delaney's posture but Delaney avoids it. Lettesen being controlled for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney decides to stand back up. Delaney tries to keep at a distance but Lettesen has taken the fight into the clinch. Lettesen is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Delaney blocks an elbow strike from Lettesen.
Lettesen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Delaney walks away with a smile on his face. Lettesen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Delaney tests Lettesen's chin there with a solid looking shot. Lettesen walks into a straight right hand from Delaney.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lettesen defends it nicely. Lettesen wants to clinch. Delaney fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lettesen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Delaney swats away the attempt to clinch by Lettesen. Roger Lettesen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Delaney throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lettesen. Delaney clobbers Lettesen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lettesen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Delaney. A control attempt from Lettesen but he's now mounted! Lettesen is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Delaney looking to control but Lettesen is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Delaney lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Delaney has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Delaney controlling the position easily from mount. Delaney scores with a couple of good head shots there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Delaney raining down hammerfists from mount. Delaney putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! This has been an exciting period of action! Delaney landing punches. Lettesen is desperately trying to improve his position but Delaney has a good base and remains in mount. Lettesen wants to hold on but Delaney pushes him away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lettesen tries to buck Delaney off but he can't manage it. Delaney controlling from mount. Delaney working Lettesen over with strikes here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lettesen is bucking up trying to escape but Delaney cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Eamon Delaney is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Delaney content just to control the position here. Let's hope that Delaney has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
