Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! House throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Westwood tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. House is in Westwood's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. House got a little sloppy there for a moment and Westwood has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, House has managed to get both his arms back between Westwood's legs - danger averted. House stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Westwood swivels though and keeps the full guard. Westwood preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. House wants to control from the top but Westwood keeps moving. Westwood is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. House drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Westwood dives on top into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nick House wasn't doing enough on the ground. House shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Westwood moves into the clinch. Westwood breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Westwood keeps the fight on the outside.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! House wants to get back to his feet but Westwood drags him back down. House tries to bench press Westwood off him but Westwood keeps the position. House is trying to control Westwood's posture but Westwood avoids it. House sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Westwood is taking a breather. House says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Westwood is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Westwood thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. House keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Westwood is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. House wants to control from the top but Westwood keeps moving. House passes easily into side control. Nice work. House is looking to take a break and control but Westwood is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Westwood is looking to reverse the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Westwood wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Westwood looking to control but House is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Westwood lands with some vicious ground and pound - can House hang on? Westwood throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Oh House is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Westwood looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has House covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
