Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Santhiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tj Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santhiago Silva looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Santhiago Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, tj Miller! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva has managed to clinch.
Miller is looking for a takedown. A short body shot lands from Miller as the two fighters clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Silva's face as he tries to break the clinch. Miller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Miller gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Miller breaks the clinch.
Miller blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva is breathing heavily. Silva tries to clinch and Miller counters with a nice kick to the body. A combination from Miller does no damage. Miller shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Miller is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Miller's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Miller controlling from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva striking off his back but it's not causing Miller any problems. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Miller is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Miller wants to pass the guard but Silva is keeping the position. Miller decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
Miller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Miller looking to score a takedown here. Silva is defending well but Miller drives through and ends up in Silva's guard. Miller pushing down on Silva's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Miller is thwarting Silva's attempts to control the position. Miller content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Miller working Silva over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Miller passes to full mount! Miller controlling his opponent. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Silva tries to get back to half guard but can't. Miller controlling from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva taking shots to the head. Miller controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
tj Miller dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Miller blocks a head kick by Silva.
Silva tries to keep at a distance but Miller has taken the fight into the clinch. Miller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miller manages to end up in side control. Silva takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Miller connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Silva some visible discomfort.
Miller takes a little break here. Silva wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Let's hope that Miller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Miller controls the position from side control. Miller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Miller tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Miller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Miller controlling the position. Silva trying to control but Miller flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Silva is trying to defend against the choke here but Miller has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Miller Tightens the hold and Silva taps out furiously! Miller displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
