Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Vergara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Conn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vergara gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Conn drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vergara gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vergara tries to break the clinch but Conn is controlling the position.
Vergara is trying to push Conn away but Conn has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Vergara can't break the clinch.

Conn has Vergara pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Conn pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vergara tumbling to the mat - Conn dives into Vergara's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Conn wants to control from the top but Vergara keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vergara kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Vergara wants to stand up but Conn is controlling him.
Vergara wants to get back to his feet but Conn passes into half guard.

Conn looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Conn has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Vergara defend it? Conn steps over the head and cranks it - Vergara is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Conn!
