The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandic misses with a hook. Hoang ducked under it nicely.

Hoang has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mandic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mandic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mandic tries to land a front kick but Hoang steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hoang drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Mandic rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hoang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mandic lands a left and a right that send Hoang crashing to the mat, dazed. Mandic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Mandic pounces like a tiger and cracks Hoang with a vicious hook! Hoang is down but not out! Mandic follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
