The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Simpson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

and Lee counters with a shoot takedown. Simpson fights it but they end up in guard.
Simpson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee content to stall in guard here.
Lee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Lee decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Simpson, up you get!

Lee seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Simpson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Tyler Lee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
