Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hulk Hogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scott Rush! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A big left from Rush misses. Hogan slips a jab and a cross from Rush.
Rush swings for the body but Hogan moves out of range.
Hogan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rush circles away. A leg kick checked by Rush. Rush slaps away a takedown attempt from Hogan, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rush takes a swing at Hogan's ribcage but misses. Rush looks to score with a jab to the body but Hogan is just out of range. Rush misses with a body shot.
Rush tries for a takedown but Hogan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rush throws a body punch but Hogan moves out of range. Rush throws the left hand but Hogan avoids the punch easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rush displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hogan. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rush throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rush takes a swing at Hogan's ribcage but misses. Hogan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rush's waist but Rush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hogan off to one side. Hogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Rush actively working from the bottom here. Hogan working the head and body with strikes. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hogan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hogan missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hogan drops an elbow to the side of Rush's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hogan drops an elbow to the side of Rush's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Rush is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Rush is trying to control but can't.
Hogan wants to work for an arm triangle but Rush is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rush looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hogan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Rush regains full guard. Nicely done. Hogan looking to pass the guard. Hogan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rush works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rush looking for a sweep. Not yet Rush, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rush has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hogan has managed to get both his arms back between Rush's legs - danger averted. Rush is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hogan defends well. Rush looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Hogan has picked Rush up and slammed him! Rush can't keep hold of the triangle and Hogan manages to pass to side control! Hogan landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Hogan is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rush has escaped the position, nice work there. Rush taking a bit of punishment here - Hogan scoring with strikes. Hogan working the body and head with strikes. Hogan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hogan landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hogan working the ground and pound. Rush is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hogan connects with a decent elbow. Rush tries to bench press Hogan off him but Hogan keeps the position. Rush is not content to let Hogan control the position. Rush tries to buck Hogan off but Hogan is having none of it. Hogan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rush down.
Hogan working the head with strikes. Hogan working away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hogan scores with punches from side control. Hogan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rush is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hogan in side control lands a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hulk Hogan dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rush throws a low kick but Hogan moves out of range easily. Hogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hogan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rush. Rush throws a shot from downtown. Hogan moves away and avoids it. Rush is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hogan rather than just go for the knockout. Rush takes a swing at Hogan's ribcage but misses. Hogan shoots in but no luck this time. Rush loads up on a big right hand but Hogan slips the punch. Hogan throws the left hand but Rush avoids the punch easily. Rush scoring well with a low kick there.
Hogan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rush tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hogan is in Rush's guard. Rush tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rush is looking for a triangle but Hogan pushes his legs off easily.
Hulk Hogan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hogan throws a big elbow that misses. Hogan throwing strikes but missing. Hogan is working Rush over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rush looking for a sweep. Not yet Rush, not yet. Hogan with a nice head shot there. Hogan trying to control but Rush is working from the bottom. Hogan cracks Rush with a solid left hand. Hogan throwing strikes from guard but Rush blocks nicely. Rush lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hogan! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hogan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hogan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hogan and Rush has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hogan can't do much from the bottom here. Rush in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Rush decides to stand back up. Hogan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rush is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Rush is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rush sneaks back into half guard. Rush moves into full guard.
Rush looking to control.
Rush is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Rush tries to pass to full mount but Hogan defends it. Hogan is controlling Rush's position as best he can from this difficult position. Hogan is not content to let Rush control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hogan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Rush is looking for a kimura here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hogan tries to roll over but Rush keeps him under control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Scott Rush will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Hogan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Rush misses with a straight left. Hogan moves into the clinch. Rush misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hogan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Rush can't keep his opponent in guard - Hogan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hogan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rush sees it coming and defends easily. Rush is looking to control Hogan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rush avoid being mounted? Rush tries to roll over but Hogan keeps him under control. Rush trying to control but Hogan postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hogan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rush does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rush manages to get to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hogan is in close to Rush's body, working some short punches and elbows. Hogan wants to control from the top but Rush keeps moving. Hogan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rush works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hogan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rush looking for a guillotine here but Hogan defends easily.
Hogan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rush controls Hogan momentarily but Hogan frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rush wants to sweep but no luck. Rush working a defensive guard here.
Hogan wants to control from the top but Rush keeps moving. Rush keeping full guard, as Hogan tries to pass. Hogan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Scott Rush hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hogan moves away from the strike by Rush. Hogan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hogan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rush is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Rush manages to avoid the submission attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rush manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Rush prevents Hogan from improving his position. Rush is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hogan wants to control but Rush is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hogan is trying to maintain the position but Rush is very close to passing his half guard.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Hulk Hogan! A relieved looking Hulk Hogan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
