Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burza comes to the cage accompanied by Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle. Chuin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Remo WIlliams Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roman Burza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Master Chuin! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chuin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Chuin. Chuin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Chuin. Those never looked like landing. Chuin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burza loads up on a big right hand but Chuin slips the punch. A right-left combo lands from Burza. Burza closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burza lands in his opponent's guard. Chuin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Burza decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Chuin, up you get! Burza throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Chuin throws a series of punches but Burza avoids them all with ease. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chuin misses with a straight right.

Master Chuin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Burza gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chuin. Chuin looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Left hook, right uppercut from Chuin. Chuin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chuin throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Burza thows a body shot but no joy. Burza takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Chuin gets caught flat footed, as Burza shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Chuin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Burza defends it easily. Burza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chuin swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burza trying to control but Chuin is working from the bottom. Burza wants to stand but Chuin is controlling his posture from full guard. Burza avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Burza tries to stand but Chuin is controlling from the bottom. Chuin has his foot on Burza's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Burza works his way back into a safe position though. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Burza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chuin throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Burza escapes and throws Chuin's legs to the side, diving into side control! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Burza working away. Burza decides to stand back up. Burza steps back and let's Chuin get back to his feet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Chuin moves out of range as Burza throws a body kick.
Master Chuin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Chuin avoids the head kick by Burza.
Burza connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chuin. Chuin circles away out of range and recomposes himself. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Burza. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Roman Burza will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A combination from Chuin does no damage. Burza scores with a one two! Chuin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Chuin is looking to land body kicks. Master Chuin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Burza scores with a head kick. Chuin tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Chuin tries a head kick but it misses.
Burza throws a front kick aimed at Chuin's knee but Chuin avoids it well. Burza swings and misses with a shot to the body and Chuin counters with a good low kick that Burza was not able to check. Chuin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Burza under the eye. Chuin pulls out of a head kick attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chuin looking for submissions off his back. Burza winds up and cracks Chuin with a swinging punch to the side of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Burza escapes and gets back to his feet. Burza bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Burza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chuin, who protects the arm well. Burza decides to stand back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed right hand from Burza misses the target. Burza throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Burza crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chuin - the referee stops the clock and Burza gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chuin. Burza manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Chuin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chuin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burza manages to avoid it. Chuin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Burza.

No joy there for Chuin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chuin throws a leg kick but Burza sees it coming and checks it nicely. Master Chuin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Burza takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Roman Burza. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Burza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
