Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jefro Bodean!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent moves out of range of the body kick from Bodean.
Bodean shoots in but no luck this time.
Kent throws a hook but Bodean avoids it easily.
Bodean fails with a takedown attempt.

James Kent has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jefro Bodean.
Bodean changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kent tries to avoid it but Bodean manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kent to the ground. Kent escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bodean shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kent as he avoids it easily.

Bodean shoots in for a double leg but Kent sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bodean misses with a series of wild punches.

It looks like Jefro Bodean has been cut.

Jefro Bodean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bodean tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kent paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bodean moves out of range as Kent strikes.

Kent thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kent throws out a loose jab but Bodean uses good head movement to avoid it.
James Kent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bodean shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kent as he jumps to the side.
Kent could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bodean closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kent circles away.
Bodean displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kent throws out the jab.
A combination from Bodean does no damage.

Kent lands with an uppercut that bounces Bodean off the cage and back into rage.

Bodean looks to land a combination but Kent avoids it well.
Kent throws a hook to the side of Bodean's head but Bodean sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bodean misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kent throws an overhand right that lands on Bodean's shoulder, as Bodean tries to avoid the shot.
Bodean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Kent throws out a loose jab but Bodean uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bodean fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kent is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kent's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
The fighters circling - Kent throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Jefro Bodean's cut.
That's time! Kent's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kent moves out of range of the body kick.
Bodean fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kent avoids the head kick by Bodean.
Kent lands a big uppercut and Bodean crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bodean looks OK.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Kent prevents Bodean from improving his position.
Kent is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Bodean wants to control but Kent is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kent tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bodean.
Bodean is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.
Bodean looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Kent is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Bodean manages to get to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bodean is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Bodean works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Bodean passes into half guard.
Bodean wants to control but Kent is keeping him busy.
Bodean is trying for a kimura here. Kent looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bodean wins by kimura!
