Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Forest Speyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhang Wufie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wufie is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Beg Waves. Zhang Wufie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Forest Speyer's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Wufie does it's job there.

Wufie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wufie throws a leg kick which misses Speyer's front leg but catches the back leg as Speyer tries to avoid it.
Speyer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wufie backs up against the cage.

Speyer cracks Wufie with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Wufie has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Speyer uses from the top position.
Speyer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Speyer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Speyer tries to get out of the position.

Wufie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Speyer dives on top into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
