The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Francis throws a leg kick that misses.
Francis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Francis misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Stone.
No joy there for Francis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Francis is looking to land body kicks.

Stone has Francis up against the cage in a clinch.

Stone pulls guard effortlessly.
Stone has his hands on Francis's head, controlling the position.

Stone is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Stone's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Stone counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Francis on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stone shoots for a double leg takedown but Francis sprawls well. He's pushed Stone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Francis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Francis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Francis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Stone thows a body kick. Francis tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Stone counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Stone lands a leg kick that knocks Francis off balance momentarily.

Francis shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Francis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Stone feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Francis's calf.
Francis looks to land a combination. Stone sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Francis throws a leg kick but Stone checks it.
Stone closes the distance and lands a one-two.
No luck for Stone with that takedown attempt.
Francis lands with a nice body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Francis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Keivon Francis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gregory Stone is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
