Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Layton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Layton comes to the cage accompanied by Undead. Terry Silva has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Thiago Layton's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Layton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Silva has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Layton is working away from the top position though.
Layton is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Layton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Silva throws a nice looking combination but Layton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Layton shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Layton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Layton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Silva throws a right hand that Layton ducks under and follows up with a left that Layton also avoids with ease.

Layton shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Silva scores with a jab. Layton acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
