Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Alexandre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Laph Roaig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexandre comes to the cage accompanied by Pregador Luo. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexandre shoots in and drives through. Roaig sprawls well.
Alexandre shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Alexandre showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alexandre is thwarting Roaig's attempts to control the position.

Roaig pushes Alexandre off looking to stand but Alexandre dives back in and keeps control.
Alexandre looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Roaig with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Roaig really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alexandre. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Roaig has momentary wrist control but Alexandre slips an elbow through the middle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alexandre is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Roaig is aware though and is defending well.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Alexandre looks up at the clock and then as Roaig takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Alexandre smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Alexandre in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Roaig looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Alexandre turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
