Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Belousov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Belousov forces his way into half guard.
Dias tries to get to full guard but Belousov has control of the leg.

Belousov takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belousov postures up in Dias's guard and throws a big left but Dias blocks it.
Belousov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Belousov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dias escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Belousov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Belousov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
