Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Novak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lee Jackson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lee Jackson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Novak fails with the takedown
and Jackson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Novak thinking.
Novak doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jackson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Novak moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.

Jackson looking to control but Novak is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jackson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Novak has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Novak!
Jackson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Novak off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Novak should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice combination there by Jackson.
Novak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lee Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Novak.
Jackson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Novak to the ground. Jackson is now in Novak's guard.

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Novak's guard.

Novak tries to reverse the position but Jackson maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Novak bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Novak tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Novak sprawls well. Novak wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet.

and Novak counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Novak.

Jackson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Novak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Novak has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.
Novak is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jackson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Novak is looking to defend but Jackson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Novak! Jackson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Novak taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lee Jackson!
Lee Jackson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
