PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wade Dew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dew fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Troy manages to avoid it.
Dew throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dew lands a jab.
Troy walks into a stiff left hand from Dew.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dew looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Troy loads up on a big right hand but Dew slips the punch.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eric Troy.

Dew ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Troy moves away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Troy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dew comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That was a close second round but I would say that Eric Troy will probably get the nod.

Dew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Troy.
Troy ducks right into an uppercut from Dew.
Dew lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Troy backs up against the cage.

Troy is rocked!
Dew rushes Troy with punches - Troy moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Troy goes down! Dew follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
