The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charmer lands a right hook to the body.
Overeem throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Charmer.
Overeem throws a right and a left that Charmer avoids nicely.
Charmer instigates a clinch.
Charmer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Charmer attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Overeem avoids a punch combination nicely.
Overeem misses with a two punch combination.
Overeem lands with a nice combination. Charmer backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Snake Charmer has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Charmer connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Overeem's hands.
Charmer feints a jab promting Overeem to slip. Charmer then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Overeem slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Fedor Overeem has been cut.
Overeem throws a right and a left that both miss.
Charmer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Overeem catches Charmer with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Charmer forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
