Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mai Pei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by ZAO - the psalm of the city of the dead.. Pei comes into a darkened arena with his song building. ACDC - Money Made kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mai Pei!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pei is trying to defend but Brooks finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pei is staying active underneath Brooks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brooks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brooks working over Pei with some ground and pound. Pei looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Brooks looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Brooks is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brooks is nestled in close to Pei, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brooks tries to pass to full mount but Pei defends it.
Brooks throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Pei is trying to escape back to his feet but Brooks uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Brooks has an Americana. Pei didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brooks is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brooks hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Eric Brooks!
Eric Brooks really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that SPARTA FIGHTWARE-GTI logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
