Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bogey James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oompa Loompa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bogey James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oompa Loompa! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Loompa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. James is in Loompa's guard. Loompa is trying to control the position but James postures up. James throws a big elbow that misses. Loompa has his foot on James's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. James works his way back into a safe position though. James postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Loompa is on top in guard.
Loompa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. James will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Loompa won't allow James to sweep him here. James working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Loompa. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet. James is looking to sweep but instead, Loompa has passed into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loompa is trying to control. James wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. James pushes Loompa off looking to stand but Loompa dives back in and keeps control.
Loompa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and James defends it well. James wants to get back to full guard. James wants to control but Loompa is keeping busy.
James looks like he's trying to stand up.
James on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if James tries to get out of the position. Loompa wants to work for an arm triangle but James is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loompa moves nicely into side control. Check out the look on Loompa's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Loompa remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Loompa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Loompa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Loompa has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for James!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loompa looking to finish James with some ground and pound. This is bad for James! James is in a horrible position here. Loompa smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
James is looking to get to half guard. Loompa breaks from James's wrist control and lands an elbow.
James is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! James wants to hold on but Loompa pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Loompa. Loompa controlling his opponent. James is looking to improve his position but Loompa isn't that keen on the idea. James is working hard here to advance position. James wants to hold on but Loompa pushes him away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. James is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The referee warns James that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oompa Loompa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Loompa connects with a solid leg kick. James drops his hands momentarily and Loompa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Loompa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice takedown defense from Loompa. No joy for James on that attempt. Loompa fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Loompa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. James takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bogey James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A telegraphed takedown attempt from James is defended easily by Loompa. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bogey James. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Loompa working some nice short punches in the clinch. Loompa lands with a short head shot on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loompa presses James against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Loompa wants a takedown.
Loompa breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bogey James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James closes this distance looking for a takedown but Loompa circles away. Loompa takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Loompa throws a nice outside leg kick. Loompa connects with a solid leg kick. James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Loompa as he avoids it easily. Loompa jabs at James's body. Loompa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. James chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Loompa can pounce on him.
Loompa thuds a left hand into James's body. Loompa shoots in and bounces James off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Loompa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loompa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. James keeping moving, preventing Loompa from controlling successfully. Loompa is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Oompa Loompa. Loompa lunges at James with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by James's hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James misses with a takedown and Loompa counters with a good low kick that James was not able to check. James tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Loompa feints and as James raises his hands in defense, Loompa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Loompa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as James works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Loompa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Loompa landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. James is looking for a sweep. Loompa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loompa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James is not content to let Loompa control the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Loompa working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oompa Loompa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Loompa connects with a single shot there. Loompa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Loompa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. James has his takedown stuffed and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Loompa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Loompa connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused James some visible discomfort.
Oh James is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! Loompa misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
James seems to have got his legs back now. Loompa has hold of James's arm. He's looking for a kimura. James seems comfortable defending it but Loompa has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! James is real pain and he's forced to tap out! James is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Loompa couldn't care less - he's delighted!
