Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dominic Borowiec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Robertson! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borowiec takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Robertson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Borowiec under the eye. Robertson keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Robertson misses with a hook
and Borowiec counters with a nice uppercut. Robertson throws a looping overhand right but Borowiec ducks down to avoid it. Robertson throws a jab when Borowiec was well out of range. A big right from Robertson misses. A telegraphed right hand from Robertson misses the target. Robertson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Dominic Borowiec has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Robertson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Donk. Borowiec catches Robertson right on the button with a cross. Robertson throws a series of punches but Borowiec moves out of range. Borowiec is looking to clinch but Robertson is avoiding it.
Robertson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Robertson lands a really nice looking cross but Borowiec seems unphased.
That's one minute gone in the round. Robertson throws a hook to the side of Borowiec's head but Borowiec sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Robertson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Borowiec ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Robertson throws a series of punches but Borowiec moves out of range. Borowiec doesn't manage to clinch there - Robertson circles away.

and Borowiec counters with a low kick, right behind Robertson 's knee. Robertson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

and Borowiec makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Robertson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Robertson scores with a jab.

and Borowiec counters with a big head kick but Robertson shrugs it off. Borowiec wants to clinch. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Robertson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Borowiec - the referee stops the clock and Robertson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Borowiec. Robertson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. A combination from Robertson does no damage. Robertson misses with a hook. Borowiec throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. A shot to the body from Robertson misses and Borowiec counters with a nice body kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Robertson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Borowiec fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Robertson thuds a left hand into Borowiec's body. Robertson looks gassed! Robertson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Borowiec. Robertson throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Robertson throws out a loose jab but Borowiec uses good head movement to avoid it. Robertson blocks a head kick by Borowiec.
Robertson scores with a nice head shot. Borowiec tries a head kick but it misses.
Borowiec throws a right and a left that both miss. Robertson tries a low kick but Borowiec avoids it. Borowiec on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Borowiec pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Borowiec counters with a good low kick that Robertson was not able to check. Robertson throws a jab but it's blocked by Borowiec. Robertson swings widly with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Borowiec tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robertson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Robertson misses with a lunging right hand
and Borowiec counters with a left to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Borowiec dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Borowiec misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Robertson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dominic Borowiec's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Borowiec throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Borowiec checks a leg kick. Robertson has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Borowiec. Borowiec tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Robertson misses with a right hand and Borowiec counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Robertson is lucky that one didn't land flush. Robertson throws the left hand but Borowiec avoids the punch easily. Borowiec is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Robertson throws a nice looking combination but Borowiec bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borowiec lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Robertson throws a series of punches but Borowiec avoids them all with ease. Robertson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Borowiec counters with a slapping leg kick. Robertson swings widly with a right hand
and Borowiec connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A low kick from Robertson misses and Borowiec counters with a head kick. That will keep Robertson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Robertson is breathing heavily. Robertson swings widly with a right hand

Robertson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Borowiec throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Robertson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Some wild striking there from Robertson.

and Borowiec counters with an inside leg kick. Borowiec uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robertson.
Borowiec lands a nice looking kick to the body. Robertson takes a step back to recover. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Borowiec throws a leg kick which misses Robertson's front leg but catches the back leg as Robertson tries to avoid it. Borowiec tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robertson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Robertson misses with a lunging right hand
and Borowiec counters with a nice low kick that buckles Robertson's knee momentarily. Borowiec scores with a decent looking hook. Robertson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Borowiecs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Borowiec rushes Robertson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Robertson is trying to break free. Borowiec comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Robertson takes an elbow to the forehead. Robertson dodges an elbow strike from Borowiec.
Robertson lands with a short head shot on the inside. Robertson misses with a short punch on the inside. Borowiec lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Borowiec creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Borowiec keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Robertson's efforts to push away. Borowiec tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Robertson tries to circle away but Borowiec has him pinned against the cage. Robertson pushes Borowiec back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Borowiec creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Borowiec throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Robertson blocks it with crossed arms. Robertson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Borowiec backwards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. With the fighters up against the cage, Borowiec throws an elbow but misses. Robertson tries to break the clinch but Borowiec is controlling the position. Robertson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Good standup being displayed there by Borowiec as he connects with a hook. Robertson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Borowiec sees it coming and avoids it easily. Robertson moves into range and connects with a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Robertson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Robertson catches Borowiec with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Robertson throws a wild combination but nothing lands. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Borowiec connects with a high kick. Robertson throws a right hand that Borowiec ducks under and follows up with a left that Borowiec also avoids with ease. Robertson throws a combination that misses and Borowiec makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Robertson really felt that one! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dominic Borowiec will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dominic Borowiec's cut. That's the end of the interval. A combination from Robertson does no damage. Borowiec lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Good leg kick by Borowiec there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Robertson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Borowiec moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A low kick from Robertson misses and Borowiec counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Borowiec lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Borowiec keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Borowiec counters with a flying knee. Nice. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Borowiec throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Borowiec tries to clinch but Robertson moves out of range. Borowiec is looking to clinch but Robertson is avoiding it.
Borowiec lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Borowiec lands a head kick. Robertson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Robertson throws a series of strikes that have Borowiec backpedaling.
Robertson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Borowiec counters with a body kick that stops Robertson in his tracks momentarily. Borowiec looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
