Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Honeycutt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Saint Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honeycutt comes to the cage accompanied by Riot- 2 Chainz. George Saint Pierre will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Honeycutt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Saint Pierre! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Honeycutt throws a predictable looking body shot
and Saint Pierre counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Honeycutt throws a hook to the side of Saint Pierre's head but Saint Pierre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Honeycutt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Horrible takedown by Honeycutt or perhaps it was just good defense by Saint Pierre which made him look bad. Honeycutt keeps the fight on the outside. Honeycutt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Honeycutt walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Saint Pierre checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Honeycutt instigates a clinch. Honeycutt lands a right hand. Saint Pierre taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Honeycutt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saint Pierre moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Honeycutt bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Honeycutt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Honeycutt cracks Saint Pierre with an elbow. That is naaassty. Honeycutt lands a decent elbow from side control. Saint Pierre seems a little lost for a moment, as Honeycutt dominates the positioning. Honeycutt misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Honeycutt slows the pace down. Saint Pierre struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honeycutt stands up. Saint Pierre looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saint Pierre misses with a wild combination.
Nice takedown defense from Honeycutt. No joy for Saint Pierre on that attempt. Saint Pierre moves out of range as Honeycutt throws a body kick.

Honeycutt forces Saint Pierre back against the cage and clinches. Honeycutt managing to block the knees to the body from Saint Pierre.
Honeycutt wants a takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Honeycutt drops down looking for an ankle pick but Saint Pierre pulls his leg out and moves away.
Honeycutt throws a combination that misses and Saint Pierre counters with a left and a right that stings Honeycutt. Honeycutt closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saint Pierre's guard. Honeycutt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Honeycutt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Saint Pierre for as long as he can get away with. Honeycutt decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Saint Pierre, up you get! Saint Pierre swinging wildly here.

Honeycutt closes the distance and pushes Saint Pierre back into the cage. Honeycutt is looking for a takedown. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Saint Pierre wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Honeycutt has him pressed against the cage. Honeycutt has Saint Pierre pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Honeycutt pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Saint Pierre tumbling to the mat - Honeycutt dives into Saint Pierre's guard. Honeycutt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saint Pierre wants to control the position but Honeycutt says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Honeycutt is taking a breather. Saint Pierre says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A punch combination from Saint Pierre misses. Chris Honeycutt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Honeycutt looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Saint Pierre! Honeycutt content just to control the position here. Saint Pierre is breathing heavily. Honeycutt working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honeycutt scoring with strikes but Saint Pierre is staying in there. Saint Pierre takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Honeycutt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Honeycutt lands a nice shot to the head. Honeycutt goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Saint Pierre turns into him and now he's in Honeycutt's guard.
Saint Pierre must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Honeycutt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Saint Pierre manages to get himself to full guard.

Honeycutt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Saint Pierre can do to turn this around?
That's four minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Honeycutt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. This has been an exciting period of action! Honeycutt trying to control the pace. Honeycutt passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Saint Pierre! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Honeycutt looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Honeycutt misses with an uppercut. Saint Pierre saw that one coming. Honeycutt gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Honeycutt is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Saint Pierre to keep the fight standing. Honeycutt has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Saint Pierre clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Honeycutt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Saint Pierre defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Honeycutt's arms. Honeycutt lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Saint Pierre.
Honeycutt has his arm under Saint Pierre's chin here. Game over son! Honeycutt squeezes tightly and Saint Pierre is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chris Honeycutt! Chris Honeycutt really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that [GTI] Divine Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
