The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCullough tries to close the distance and clinch but Deamon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McCullough is looking to score with low kicks.
Deamon shoots for a double leg takedown but McCullough sprawls well. He's pushed Deamon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Wayne McCullough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCullough thows a body shot but no joy.
McCullough misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCullough throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCullough swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Deamon drives through and clinches with McCullough against the cage.

Deamon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McCullough but McCullough pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McCullough will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
