Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne McCullough! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Deamon! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCullough tries to close the distance and clinch but Deamon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McCullough is looking to score with low kicks. Deamon shoots for a double leg takedown but McCullough sprawls well. He's pushed Deamon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Wayne McCullough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCullough thows a body shot but no joy. McCullough misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
McCullough throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McCullough swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Deamon drives through and clinches with McCullough against the cage.
Deamon manages to break the clinch.
McCullough scores with a decent looking hook. Deamon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McCullough but McCullough pushes him off and we're back to square one. McCullough dodges the punch combination from Deamon.

Wayne McCullough has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Deamon. McCullough will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
McCullough throws a leg kick that misses. Deamon moves out of range as McCullough strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deamon fails with a takedown attempt from distance. McCullough bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Deamon is rocked! Are you kidding me?! McCullough ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Deamon clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
