The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itsuma moves into the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Keller gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Itsuma to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Itsuma must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Keller is striking but Itsuma is not phased and passes to half guard.
Itsuma seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Itsuma really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Keller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
