Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Piotr Rasputin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Starship Pain!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pain cracks the inside of Rasputin's front leg.
A jab lands there for Rasputin.
Rasputin stuns Pain with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Pain drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rasputin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pain has Rasputin in his guard.

Pain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rasputin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pain is on top in guard.

Let's hope that Pain has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Pain has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
