Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Walter Hannedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Peto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peto has chosen Sabaton - Talvisota as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Walter Hannedy! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pertti Peto! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peto misses with a wild body shot. Peto scores with a head kick. Hannedy tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
It looks like Walter Hannedy has been cut. Peto misses with a two punch combination.
Hannedy throws a low kick but Peto moves out of range easily. Hannedy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peto tries to avoid it but Hannedy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peto to the ground. Peto escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hannedy misses with a body shot.
Hannedy takes a swing at Peto's ribcage but misses. Hannedy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Peto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Hannedy gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hannedy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Peto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck for Hannedy with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter Hannedy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peto jabs at Hannedy's body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hannedy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Peto to the mat! Peto manages to get full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Peto is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hannedy postures up.
Peto looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Peto keeping moving, preventing Hannedy from controlling successfully. Peto is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hannedy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Peto tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hannedy trying to control the position from guard on top but Peto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Peto misses with a body shot.
Walter Hannedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hannedy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Peto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hannedy somewhat. Hannedy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Peto moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hannedy is defended easily by Peto. Peto throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Hannedy throws a right and a left that both miss. Peto dodges the punch combination from Hannedy.
Peto cracks Hannedy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Peto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Peto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Peto lands a leg kick that knocks Hannedy off balance momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Peto. Hannedy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hannedy is thwarting Peto's attempts to control the position. Peto works his way to full guard. Good work. Hannedy stops Peto from standing up. Peto looking to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hannedy looking to pass the guard. Hannedy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Peto dives on top into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hannedy is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Peto. Hannedy trying to control the position but Peto is working away. Hannedy working away. Hannedy is trying to get an arm triangle but Peto is defending well. Peto tries to buck Hannedy off but Hannedy is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peto pushes Hannedy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hannedy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hannedy is looking to take a break and control but Peto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peto is looking for a sweep. Peto manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Hannedy looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hannedy wants to improve his position but Peto is controlling well.
Peto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hannedy sees it coming and defends easily.

Hannedy looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peto throwing shots but Hannedy is blocking nicely. A decent looking body kick lands there for Peto. Hannedy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hannedy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hannedy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peto but Peto pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hannedy motions for Peto to come forward. Hannedy throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. The crowd cheers as Hannedy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Peto doesn't seem phased though. A head kick from Peto lands but Hannedy takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peto dodges the punch combination from Hannedy.

Hannedy is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Peto throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Peto tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Peto wants to control but Hannedy is keeping him busy. Hannedy is looking to regain half guard here but Peto keeps moving and retains side control. Hannedy tries to escape but Peto is in control. Peto is looking to take a break and control but Hannedy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Hannedy is trying to control Peto's posture but Peto avoids it. Peto has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hannedy! Peto wants to finish this one by submission but Hannedy is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Peto. Hannedy really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peto lands a big shot there that rocks Hannedy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Peto dominating with strikes here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Peto lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Peto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hannedy is looking to escape. Hannedy is bucking up trying to escape but Peto cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hannedy keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hannedy is working hard here to advance position. The referee warns Hannedy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hannedy is squirming around, avoiding Peto's attempts to control the action.

Peto lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hannedy hang on? Peto throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hannedy has his hands clasped together but Peto breaks the hold and Hannedy is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Peto!
