Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A swing and a miss from Ward.
Pox walks into a jab.
Pox tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ward. That's going to slow Pox down.
Ward fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pox has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pox doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pox takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ward lands a head kick. Pox smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A head kick misses from Ward.
Ward tries to land a leg kick but Pox saw it coming and moves away.
Ward pivots, looking for a leg kick but Pox is out of range and Ward settles back down.
Pox is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ward sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown by Pox or perhaps it was just good defense by Ward which made him look bad.

Pox takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Ward tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pox throws a strike but Ward rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Ward has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pox is proving hard to escape from.

Ward got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pox has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ward has managed to get both his arms back between Pox's legs - danger averted.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pox escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ward gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pox throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ward escapes and throws Pox's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Pox tries to bench press Ward off him but Ward keeps the position.

Pox looks to move to half guard but instead Ward has passed into mount! Damn!
Pox keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pox slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Ward tries to stand and escape but Pox is controlling the position.
Pox manages to get to full guard.
Pox is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ward wants to stand but Pox has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Pox is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ward defends well.
Pox throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ward escapes and throws Pox's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Ward really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ward decides to stand back up. Ward steps back and let's Pox get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mr Ward will probably get the nod.
That's time! Pox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ward connects with a single shot there.
Ward fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ward throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Pox shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ward's waist but Ward gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pox off to one side.
Pox gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ward counters with a stiff right hand.

Ward motions for Pox to come forward. Ward throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mr Ward seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ward lunges at Pox with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pox's hand.
Ward misses with a body shot.
Pox blocks a head kick by Ward.
Pox feints and as Ward raises his hands in defense, Pox changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ward preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ward keeping full guard, as Pox tries to pass.
Ward is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Pox drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ward looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ward looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ward!
Pox tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pox is working hard here to advance position.

Elix Pox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ward gets to mount! Pox was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ward gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ward stuffs the takedown.

Pox shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ward as he avoids it easily.
Pox gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ward.
Ward thumps Pox with a low kick.
Pox is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ward scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
An inside leg kick lands from Ward.
Pox misses with a takedown attempt - Ward sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pox takes a kick to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ward cracks Pox with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pox is rocked!

and Ward counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Oh Pox is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ward throws a nice inside leg kick.
Pox circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Ward. Pox falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Ward!
