Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago De Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Redding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Drop the World. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Santos slips a jab from Redding.
Redding throws a right and a left that both miss.
De Santos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Redding as he jumps to the side.
Redding throws an ugly left hook that misses

and De Santos counters by moving into the clinch.
Redding prevents the takedown attempt.
Redding is looking to control De Santos's arms but De Santos gets an underhook and turns him. Now Redding has his back to the cage.
De Santos misses with a hook to the ribs.
De Santos is pushing Redding up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Redding blocks a body shot from De Santos.
De Santos has Redding pressed against the cage, preventing Redding from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
De Santos has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Redding is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

De Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Redding tries to avoid it but De Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Redding to the ground. Redding escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Redding darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Redding throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Redding connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed De Santos momentarily.
Redding swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

De Santos throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Redding was covering up waiting for the punch and De Santos finishes the takedown easily into guard.

De Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and De Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Redding really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
