Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Houle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Superieur quickly recovers to half guard.
Houle is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Houle wants to take a breather but Superieur is having none of it.
Houle has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Houle tries to control but Superieur wriggling away.
Houle has hold of Superieur's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Superieur manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Houle is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Superieur to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Superieur shrugs it off.

Superieur has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Houle's lack of action.
Superieur won't allow Houle to pass to mount.
Houle is looking to take a break and control but Superieur is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Houle might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Superieur kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Superieur is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Houle is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Superieur knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Houle on the ground.
Superieur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Houle is working away from the top position though.
Houle is trying for a kimura here. Superieur looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Houle wins by kimura!
