Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alaskan Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogan comes to the cage accompanied by Hulkamania . Alaskan Assassin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assassin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hogan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Assassin. No joy for Hogan on that attempt.
Hulk Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assassin swings widly with a right hand

so Hogan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Hogan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Assassin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hogan , into his guard.

Assassin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hogan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Assassin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hogan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hogan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hogan !

Assassin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Hogan is controlling him well.

Hogan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hogan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Assassin is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Hogan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Assassin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hogan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Assassin rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hogan 's guard! Nice work there by Assassin!

Assassin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hogan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hogan has escaped and now he's on top!

Hogan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Assassin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hogan circles away quickly and effectively.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hogan .
Hogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hogan shoots in and drives through. Assassin sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Assassin leaves Hogan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hogan shoots in looking for a takedown but Assassin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hogan 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Assassin has Hogan up against the cage in a clinch.

Assassin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Assassin throws out a loose jab but Hogan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hogan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Hogan shoots in but Assassin avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hogan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hogan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Assassin has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hogan but great work by Assassin.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
