Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjj Ftw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Bjj Ftw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jong Bak! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ftw manages to avoid it. Bjj Ftw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Bak. No joy for Ftw on that attempt. Ftw dives in and grabs Bak's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bak pushes down on Ftw's head and hops out. Bak slaps away a takedown attempt from Ftw, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bjj Ftw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bak wants to clinch up but Ftw keeps it at a distance. Bak slaps away a takedown attempt from Ftw, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bak tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ftw manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bak throws a nice looking combination but Ftw bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bak scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bak trying to control the position but Ftw is working away. Ftw is looking to reverse the position. Bak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ftw, who protects the arm well. Ftw is trying to get back to half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ftw manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Bak tries to roll over but Ftw keeps him under control. Ftw is working for a submission of some sort.
Ftw wants to pass the guard but Bak is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ftw is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Bak can't escape the position.
Ftw trying to control but Bak is having none of it. Ftw wants to take his opponent's back but Bak doesn't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bak tries to hold on but Ftw postures up. Ftw tries to control but Bak wriggling away. Bak tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ftw wants to take Bak's back but he can't do it this time. Bak is desperately trying to improve his position but Ftw has a good base and remains in mount. Ftw with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ftw is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Bak has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Bak!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bak gets to his feet - Ftw follows without any prompting. Ftw scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bak can't do much from the bottom here. Bak prevents Ftw from improving position. Bak gets back to half guard. Ftw wants to free his trapped foot but Bak is holding on for dear life with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ftw is working for a submission of some sort.
Ftw stalling away here and it's allowed Bak to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ftw trying to control but Bak is working from the bottom. Bak wants to sweep but no luck. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bak holds on and takes a little breather. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bak controls Ftw momentarily but Ftw frees himself. Bak is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ftw controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bak trying to keep a closed guard but Ftw is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bjj Ftw will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ftw shoots in for a double leg but Bak sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ftw shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bak as he avoids it easily. Bak tries to close the distance and clinch but Ftw swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ftw avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ftw gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bak counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bjj Ftw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ftw is trying to keep Bak in close.
Bak must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bak stands up from guard. Let's bang! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ftw fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bak will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bak shoots for a takedown but Ftw saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bjj Ftw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ftw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bak looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ftw goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bak rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ftw's guard! Nice work there by Bak!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ftw is adopting a defensive guard. Ftw tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bak trying to control the position from guard on top but Ftw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ftw has his foot on Bak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bak works his way back into a safe position though. Bak trying to control but Ftw is working from the bottom. Bak drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bak jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ftw controlling the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ftw wants to sweep here but Bak controlling him for the moment. Ftw working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bak doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bak manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bak wants to control from the top but Ftw keeps moving. Bak got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ftw has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bak has managed to get both his arms back between Ftw's legs - danger averted. Bak wants to control from the top but Ftw keeps moving. Ftw trying to keep a closed guard but Bak is proving a slippery customer.

Bak controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Ftw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bak decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ftw shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bak but Bak pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bak stuffs the takedown attempt from Ftw. Ftw gets slowly back to his feet. Bak is looking to clinch but Ftw is avoiding it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bak leaves Ftw with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bjj Ftw. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bak. Bak doesn't manage to clinch there - Ftw circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Bak enables Ftw to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bak manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bak wants to sweep but no luck. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ftw here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ftw looking to sit in guard and control but Bak gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bak gets to his feet - Ftw follows without any prompting. Bak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ftw sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bak somewhat. Bak is looking to clinch but Ftw is avoiding it.
Jong Bak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fight stays on the outside here - Bak looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ftw shoots in and bounces Bak off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Ftw wants to control from the top but Bak keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bak had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ftw defends it easily. Ftw won't allow Bak to sweep him here. Ftw tries to free his leg and advance position but Bak is retaining full guard. Ftw trying to control the position from guard on top but Bak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bak working for a triangle but Ftw defends it easily.
Ftw stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bak swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ftw controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ftw is pushing down on Bak's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bak is fighting to maintain full guard but Ftw has managed to sneak the leg through. Bak is not content to let Ftw control the position. Ftw is thwarting Bak's attempts to control the position. Ftw is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ftw moves into full mount! Bak won't be happy about that! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bak stops Ftw from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
And that's the end of the fight! Bjj Ftw showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ftw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
