Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flo Tinaway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQuail has chosen Glasgow Kiss as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Parker McQuail!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tinaway closes this distance looking for a takedown but McQuail circles away.
Tinaway keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tinaway has his takedown stuffed
and McQuail counters with an inside leg kick.
Tinaway fails with the takedown
and McQuail counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flo Tinaway. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McQuail just misses with a punch to the body.
Tinaway throws a leg kick that is checked
and McQuail counters with a one-two to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from McQuail. Tinaway does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrible takedown by Tinaway or perhaps it was just good defense by McQuail which made him look bad.

McQuail ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Tinaway gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and McQuail counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
McQuail feints and then cracks Tinaway's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Tinaway down.

McQuail misses with a low kick.
McQuail throws a low kick, looking for Tinaway's leg but Tinaway calmly moves out of range.
McQuail is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Tinaway rather than just go for the knockout.
A looping hook to the body misses from McQuail. Tinaway does a little dance to reset his feet.
A combination from McQuail does no damage.
Tinaway takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

McQuail controls Tinaway momentarily but Tinaway frees himself.
McQuail is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tinaway has gone for a leg lock! McQuail slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tinaway's guard.
McQuail sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tinaway's guard.

Tinaway is looking to control McQuail's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tinaway avoid being mounted?
McQuail wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tinaway keeps working.
Tinaway manages to get to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McQuail leaves Tinaway with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Tinaway drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McQuail gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Some bone on bone action there as Tinaway checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

McQuail throws a series of punches but Tinaway avoids them all with ease.
McQuail cracks Tinaway with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tinaway doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and McQuail counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

McQuail slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McQuail misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

McQuail wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tinaway keeps working.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Parker McQuail showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

McQuail is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tinaway knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tinaway is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McQuail's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

McQuail is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

McQuail must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

McQuail stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tinaway swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McQuail wants to control from the top but Tinaway keeps moving.
Parker McQuail is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Tinaway is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McQuail pulls his head out easily.

Parker McQuail comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McQuail has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Parker McQuail tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
