Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Guile Roswell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bettar Thanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roswell comes to the ring accompanied by Poupine et Thierry. Bettar Thanu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Guile Roswell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bettar Thanu!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thanu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roswell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thanu tries to close the distance and clinch but Roswell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Roswell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Thanu closes the distance but Roswell moves to the side
and Roswell counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thanu's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Roswell wants to control from the top but Thanu keeps moving.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Roswell tries to free his leg and advance position but Thanu is retaining full guard.
Roswell stops Thanu from standing up.
Roswell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Thanu wants to stand and escape but Roswell is having none of it.
Roswell postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Thanu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roswell, into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thanu wants to get up but he can't break Roswell's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Roswell is looking to sinch up a triangle. Thanu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Roswell's body to avoid the submission. Roswell has instead reached around Thanu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Roswell arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Guile Roswell!
Guile Roswell seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
