Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Finch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bronko Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finch has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Bronko Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Finch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bronko Johnson! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Finch, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Finch against the cage but Finch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Finch swivels and escapes. Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Johnson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Finch tries to escape but Johnson is in control. Finch is breathing heavily. Johnson trying to control the action but Finch is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Johnson cracks Finch with a big right hand but Finch just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Finch is trying to escape the position but Johnson is controlling the position. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson tries for a kimura but Finch is defending well. Finch managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Johnson.
Johnson wants to control but Finch is keeping him busy. Johnson is trying to get an arm triangle but Finch is defending well. Johnson controlling from side mount. Johnson throws a strike aimed at the side of Finch's head but Finch avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson is looking to take a break and control but Finch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finch keeps working. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Johnson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Finch some visible discomfort.
Johnson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Johnson working the ground and pound. Johnson is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Finch is trying to escape and Johnson transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Finch is forced to tap! Nice work there by Johnson! Very nice indeed!
