The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Magyar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McCarthy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCarthy tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Magyar tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCarthy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Magyar somewhat.
McCarthy lands a really nice looking cross but Magyar seems unphased.
