The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grundi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Grundi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Grundi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wait, no, Hanrahan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Grundi's guard! Nice work there by Hanrahan! Hanrahan is looking to stand up but Grundi won't let him. Grundi looking for a guillotine here but Hanrahan defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hanrahan won't allow Grundi to pass to mount. Grundi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hanrahan wants to get back to his feet.
Grundi in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hanrahan tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Grundi!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Angus Grundi!
