Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slava Smirnov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valravn Solefald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Smirnov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to New Tone – Run. Solefald has chosen Valravn - Koder På Snor as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smirnov lands a nice looking body shot.
Smirnov darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Valravn Solefald has been cut.

Solefald closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Smirnov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Smirnov wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Solefald wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smirnov keeps working.

Solefald tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Smirnov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Solefald on the ground.
Smirnov is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Solefald asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Solefald lands a few punches from side control.
Solefald passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Smirnov!

Valravn Solefald tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
