Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darren Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Martin fails with a takedown attempt.
Jacobs misses with a takedown
and Martin counters with a straight right hand.
Martin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A right-left combo lands from Martin.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jacobs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Darren Jacobs.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Martin gets tackled into the cage by Jacobs. Jacobs maintains the clinch.

Jacobs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Martin looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jacobs is defending well. Martin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jacobs has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Martin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
