Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Mera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roma Mano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mera comes into the arena with The Automatic - Monster blaring out of the sound system. Roma Mano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Danny Mera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roma Mano! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mano scores with a shot to the body.
Mano darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Mera bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Mera misses with a double jab
and Mano counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Mano misses with a hook
and Mera makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Mano jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Nice combo by Mano! Oh, that's hurt him - Mera falls to the canvas and Mano follows him into side control.
Mera is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mano working the ground and pound but Mera is defending the strikes. Oh Mera is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mera tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mano throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Mano throws a strike aimed at the side of Mera's head but Mera avoids it well. Mano is working Mera over with some ground and pound from side control. Mano happy to just control the position for now. Mano throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mano is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mera will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Mera seems to have got his legs back now. Mera tries to improve position but can't. Mera struggling a bit here. Mano tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Mera is trying to get back to half guard. Mano throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Mano lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mera down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mera is letting Mano control him for a moment. Mera on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mera tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mano wants to control but Mera is keeping him busy. Mano sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Mera is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Mano trying to control the position but Mera is working away. Mera sneaks back into half guard. Mano wants to pass the guard but Mera is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mano scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Mano lands strikes from half guard. Mera keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Mano passes to full mount! Mera is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mano content just to control the position here. Mano wants to control the pace but Mera is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mano throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Mano trying to control but he's not successful this time. Mera wants to hold on but Mano pushes him away. Mera avoids a series of strikes thrown by Mano.
Mano lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mano cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mera is looking to improve his position but Mano isn't that keen on the idea. Mano working Mera over with strikes here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roma Mano dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mano shoots for a double leg takedown but Mera sprawls well. He's pushed Mano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mano misses with a double jab.
Mano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mera stalling in the clinch but Mano improves position. Mano scores with a shoulder strike. Mano turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Mera pushes Mano away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mano gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Mera regains half guard. Mano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mano moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Mera.
Roma Mano has got the better of the ground game so far. Mano controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mano is chipping away with strikes.
Mera trying to remain calm as Mano controls from the top position. Mano scoring with punches and elbows. Mera can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mano throwing shots but missing, from side control. Mano lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. This has been an exciting period of action! Mano throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Mano landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Mano wants to control but Mera is keeping him busy. Mano working the ground and pound. Mano has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mano working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Mano lands a decent elbow from side control. Mera is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Mera manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mano is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Mera is hurt! He's hurt bad - Mano fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Mera from any more punishment! Congratulations to Mano! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roma Mano! A determined Roma Mano didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
