Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Dotson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanko Velilkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dotson comes to the cage accompanied by Motor Mouth. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Dotson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stanko Velilkov! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velilkov shoots in and gets a takedown into Dotson's guard. Dotson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Velilkov's guard. Velilkov keeping full guard, as Dotson tries to pass. Dotson looking to sit in guard and control but Velilkov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Velilkov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dotson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Velilkov controls from within his opponent's guard. Velilkov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velilkov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dotson keeping moving, preventing Velilkov from controlling successfully. Velilkov sitting in guard here, content to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Stanko Velilkov was stalling too much, according to the referee. Velilkov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dotson is trying to defend but Velilkov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dotson trying to hold on to Velilkov's head to control him but Velilkov postures up.
Dotson is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velilkov tries to pass to full mount but Dotson defends it. Velilkov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Stanko Velilkov. Velilkov fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dotson throws a head kick but Velilkov moves out of range.
Velilkov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dotson sprawls well initially but Velilkov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dotson wants to get back to his feet.
Velilkov trying to control the pace. Velilkov winds up and cracks Dotson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Dotson wants to improve his position but Velilkov is controlling well.
Well, if Velilkov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dotson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Velilkov moves into full mount! Dotson won't be happy about that! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Velilkov tries to control but Dotson wriggling away. Dotson is desperately trying to improve his position but Velilkov has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stanko Velilkov dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Dotson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dotson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Velilkov rushes Dotson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Velilkov is looking to take this one to the mat. Dotson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Velilkov blocks it with crossed arms. Velilkov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Dotson after a bit of a struggle. Dotson tries to land knees in the clinch but Velilkov avoids the damage to the body. Velilkov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dotson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Dan Dotson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stanko Velilkov. Velilkov tightens his grip and picks Dotson up, before dumping him to the ground. Dotson manages to land in guard. Dotson looking to control.
Dotson looking for a sweep. Not yet Dotson, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dotson controls Velilkov momentarily but Velilkov frees himself. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Velilkov. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Velilkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Dotson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dotson missing with a left hand there. Velilkov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Velilkov fails with the takedown enabling Dotson to counter with a crisp jab. Dotson works Velilkov's body with a nice hook. Dotson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Velilkov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dotson pinned against the cage. Dotson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dotson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Velilkov swats him away and circles back towards the center. Velilkov dives in and grabs Dotson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dotson pushes down on Velilkov's head and hops out. Velilkov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Velilkov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dotson. Velilkov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dotson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Velilkov somewhat. Velilkov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dotson. Velilkov dips to his left and cracks Dotson with an uppercut! A looping hook to the body misses from Dotson. Velilkov does a little dance to reset his feet. Velilkov tries for a takedown but Dotson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Velilkov lands a jab. Dotson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Velilkov moves away. Velilkov misses with a takedown attempt - Dotson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dotson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Velilkov has a takedown stuffed. Dotson thuds a left hand into Velilkov's body. Velilkov is breathing heavily. Dotson lands with a right hand. Dotson throws a shot from downtown. Velilkov moves away and avoids it. Dotson misses with a low kick. Dotson lands a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dotson throws a poor cross that misses
and Velilkov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dotson won't be happy with that. Dotson is looking for a sweep. Dotson pushes Velilkov away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Velilkov gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Velilkov working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dotson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dotson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Velilkov is controlling him well. Dotson trying to remain calm as Velilkov controls from the top position. Dotson struggling a bit here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Velilkov wants to control but Dotson is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Dotson dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Velilkov throws a right hand that Dotson ducks under and follows up with a left that Dotson also avoids with ease. Stanko Velilkov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Velilkov moves away from the strike by Dotson. Velilkov tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Dotson counter with a right hand. Velilkov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dotson swivels and escapes. Dotson gets tackled into the cage by Velilkov. Velilkov maintains the clinch. Velilkov takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Stanko Velilkov has been cut. A short left from Dotson. Dotson taking a breather. Velilkov blocks an uppercut.
Dotson has Velilkov pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Velilkov is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Dotson - that's hurt Velilkov badly! Oh, another knee lands and Velilkov is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Velilkov doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Dan Dotson! After winning the bout, Dan Dotson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
