Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brunson Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doyle's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, On To The Next One. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Brunson Doyle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Rico Willis! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doyle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Willis manages to avoid it. Doyle throws a right and a left that Willis avoids nicely. Willis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brunson Doyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Doyle takes a body punch but keeps moving. Willis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Willis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Willis trying to move into half guard but instead Doyle has managed to sweep! Doyle stops Willis from standing up. Doyle tries to stand but Willis is controlling from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Willis wants to stand up but Doyle is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doyle is looking to stand up but Willis won't let him.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Brunson Doyle wasn't doing enough on the ground. Doyle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Willis. Doyle feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Willis takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Doyle blocks a jab. Doyle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A big left from Doyle misses. Willis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Willis takes a swing at Doyle's ribcage but misses. Doyle ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Willis moves away. Willis throws a series of punches but Doyle avoids them all with ease. Willis slips a jab from Doyle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doyle misses with a two punch combination.
Doyle throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Willis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Doyle throws a front kick aimed at Willis's knee but Willis avoids it well. Doyle misses with a shot to the body and Willis counters with a lovely straight right hand! Doyle scores with a nice strike. Willis moves out of range of the leg kick from Doyle. Doyle misses with an uppercut. Willis on the wrong end of a nice hook. Willis digs a good hook to Doyle's body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Doyle counters with a right hand to the body. Doyle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Doyle swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Willis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Doyle misses with an uppercut. Willis scores with a kick to the midsection. Doyle is breathing heavily. Doyle looks to land a right hand but Willis moved out of range. Doyle throws a jab but it's blocked by Willis. Doyle turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Doyle misses with a few strikes there.
Doyle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Willis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Doyle's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Willis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Doyle works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Willis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Willis wants to control from the top but Doyle keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doyle wants to stand up but Willis is controlling him. Doyle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Doyle holds on and takes a little breather. Willis trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Doyle manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Willis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Doyle is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rico Willis will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
An inside leg kick lands from Willis. Willis takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Willis thuds a left hand into Doyle's body. Doyle tries to score with a low kick but Willis moves his leg out of the way. Willis avoids the head kick by Doyle.
Willis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doyle. Willis throws a lazy right hand but Doyle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Doyle scores with a nice strike. Willis fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Doyle. Doyle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Willis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Willis throws a head kick that misses. Doyle misses with a straight left. Willis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Doyle pinned against the cage. Doyle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Doyle misses with a two punch combination.

Willis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Willis showed some decent athleticism there. Willis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Doyle's head. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Willis. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Doyle tries to roll over but Willis keeps him under control. Willis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Doyle defending well though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Willis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Willis trying to pass the guard but Doyle defending well. Doyle is staying active underneath Willis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Willis is looking for a kimura but Doyle is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Willis to get the leverage.

Willis is looking to pass Doyle's guard but actually Doyle recovers to full guard. Willis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Doyle looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Doyle looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Doyle! Willis tries to escape but Doyle is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doyle in side control, throwing shots but Willis defends. Doyle stands up and we're back to a striking position. Doyle misses with a looping left. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Doyle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Willis. Doyle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doyle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Willis. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Willis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Doyle moves out of range of the body kick. Willis shoots for a double leg takedown but Doyle sprawls well. He's pushed Willis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Doyle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Willis checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Willis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doyle can pounce on him.

Doyle throws a nice looking combination but Willis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Willis fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Doyle looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Doyle throws a sloppy head kick and Willis moves out of range easily. Doyle takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doyle throws the left hand but Willis avoids the punch easily. Willis throws a hook to the side of Doyle's head but Doyle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brunson Doyle is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Willis moves out of range of the strikes. A big left from Willis misses. Brunson Doyle is winning the standup battle so far. Willis connects with a leg kick. Doyle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Willis lands a two punch combo.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Willis throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Doyle on the side of the head. Doyle throws a looping overhand right but Willis ducks down to avoid it. Doyle misses with a right hand and Willis counters with a slapping leg kick. Doyle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Willis darts in and clinches Doyle up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Willis prevents Doyle from breaking the clinch. Willis lands with a right to the head. Doyle blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Willis tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Doyle takes an elbow to the temple. Willis stalling in the clinch but Doyle improves position. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Willis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Willis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Doyle pulls his leg out and moves away.
Willis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Doyle thows a left - swing and a miss! Doyle scores with a crisp jab that stopped Willis in his tracks. Willis takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Willis is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Doyle rather than just go for the knockout. Doyle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Willis takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Decent striking displayed by Willis there. Brunson Doyle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Willis cracks the inside of Doyle's front leg. Willis scores with a sloppy right hand. Doyle should have avoided that one. Doyle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Doyle moves out of range of the body kick. Jab from Willis. Doyle misses with a shot to the body and Willis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Doyle on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Doyle takes a swing at Willis's ribcage but misses. Doyle misses with a looping left. Doyle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Doyle takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Doyle has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Willis. Willis feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Doyle's calf. Rico Willis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis moves into the clinch. Willis lands a nice shot to the body. Willis lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Willis lands with a short head shot on the inside. Willis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Doyle is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Willis lands an elbow inside that Doyle shrugs off. Doyle avoids the elbow strike from Willis, against the cage.

Brunson Doyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rico Willis. Willis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

And that's the end of the fight! Rico Willis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Willis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
