Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Colbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown has chosen Monster by Skillet as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Monty Brown enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Monty Brown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colbert thows a body shot but no joy.
Colbert swats away the attempt to clinch by Brown.
Colbert with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Brown misses with a looping right.
Brown lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brown throws a punch but it's blocked by Colbert.
Colbert is trying to break free.
Colbert is pressed up against the cage. Brown has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Colbert down to the mat. Colbert avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Monty Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Colbert connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Colbert scores with a one two! Brown had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Colbert cracks Brown with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brown looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Colbert finish him?

Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Colbert sees it coming and defends easily.

Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Colbert's head.

Colbert is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cain Colbert will probably get the nod.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Colbert is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.
